Hello Russ,
Let me know what you learn of these earlier block series when you get it. I remember (1966) when I purchased a 1927 Dodge Senior IS series car (the last Dodge Brothers before Christler) it had the first Dodge 6 cylinder flathead. From what I remember it had a large cast crankcase area. It would be interesting to know where your motor sits in relation between the IS series and our more common later series. Send me some photos if you can.
Best of luck, Jackson

PS: If your anywhere near Sacramento Ca. and need a T214 motor for your WC let me know.
