Use it! If it is 7x19 type only. The only thing you will find is that it will have fish hooks in it before the mild steel. I have 1/2" 7x7 type and it is to stiff, so I will change it out some day. When you splice it or nico press it double up, don't depend on one keeper.If you want a real nice end fitting for the wire get a northsman wedge lock they are very strong and very trick. See Ya.
