Good to hear this, Clint. For the most part, out of the last 18 years of having my own home, I have never had any problem running the cheapest, most common fuel in my equipment either, and for the most part, it always started up and ran just fine, even after 4 - 5 months of sitting over the winter. I say "for the most part" because there was one Spring season several years ago when I had trouble with my string trimmer, my blower and my edger/pole chain saw all at the same time. I don't know for sure what happened, but I've always suspected the fuel. I messed with the carbs and fuel systems on all three pieces of equipment till I was pulling my hair out, even replacing one carb with a new one, and never could get any of them to run right after that. Since then, I've always tried to remember to use Sta-bil. I'm going to start up my lawn tractor, my push mower, my newer string trimmer, my edger and my blower in the next couple of weeks, so we'll see how I did this winter.
