I think the only straight 8 Buick that ever had a 4 barrel was the Riviera Road Master option that came out late 40s until Buick went away from the straight 8 in mid 50s. I have driven a couple with stock 4 barrel. My 2nd car was a straight 8 Pontiac. I love the smoothness of inline 8s. nothing like it except V12s and V16s. so smooth
