When Dodge first adopted the "Power Wagon" name and abandoned the earlier "Farm Utility Truck" and "Dodge General Purpose Truck", they included the hyphen between the words. Many early pieces of literature show the hyphen in print as well as artists renditions of the trucks themselves complete with hyphenated hood letters.

I just got in the habit of using the hyphen years ago as a homage to the origins of our trucks and it has just become habit since....kind of like my habit of not using the fla* fen*** words - unless I am talking about Jeeps. ;^)
