went to orotina to a machine shop to pick up first hub with a rotor bolted up

took my stock radiator with me and dropped it off at the radiator shop

while i was there i showed em my disc mod and they asked me what kind of a truck it was and i showed em the orange beast and after we were talking he told me one of his clients who heard the conversation said there was one in a bone yd. up the road--so i went to have a peakaboo

well no hide nor hair of a ff---but i did find 3 izuzu forwards with the below hydravac on them and vacumm tanks

as some may know i need another one to complete my brakes so my guess is i can use one of these(there is no source in costa rica for new ones either the izuzu or stateside dodge hydravac rebuilds that i know of but my guess is they service the izuzus here-i can get the whole unit tank and all for less than $100 so that maybe worth looking into-- it may be stateside made for the izuzus in that day--looks about the same size as ours but double diaphram

in the process i found an int. bus with a single cir. mc and i looked under the bus--but could not get to close cuz there were pochote branches all over the ground with their thorns on the branches--but low and behold what i saw was 2 hydravac cylinders on one booster--so my question is what is tht all about

on a side note i found in the ford bone yd. the other day a rather lg saginaw(app. the same spine as stock) that will work even better than the one i was gonna use and i got the no. off it and found it on line and it is a common part and easily found on rock a etc. and appears to be one of the cheaper ones

i seem to be moving a little faster now and i plan to post pics within a month or so with all my mods in place

oh and most importantly there was oil in the radiator so bare minimum blown head gasket--hopefully that is all--oops also there was water on the bottom of the pan when i drained the oil

i had to machine the hub a hair to get the rotor to bolt to it but it was out of round about that much--if it was true it probably would have bolted up--but now i have a balance hub!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
