I have 8 3/4 gears in the front and 9 5/8 gears in the rear of my WC53. It came that way from the factory. When I switched to 4.88 gears I found a beautiful used set from a 1/2 ton for the front and bought a new set of 4.88 9 5/8 for the rear. Its be running that way for 16+ years.
