Well if you're asking me, I think a first series bed made of 1/4" steel & then I'd talk nice to CCSammy & talk a few stake pockets out of him & maybe even bribe home to make me some fancy big fenders & roll the wire in with that fancy ass machine of his.
That'd be what I'd build.
Flat beds are another sad story...so useful but a vehicle with a flatdeck sells for half of one with a bed.
If value is no issue...a cool flatdeck is dang useful...id go giant first series bed myself.
