I've looked at the left versus right hand drive setups to se the differences.

Many civilian frames were drilled to mount both hands of steering box.

Steering boxes were not the same, but very similar, of course.

Throttle linkage was simpler - did not have to cross the bell housing.

Starter pedal linkage much stronger. The starter stays in the ordinary position, and a very strong linkage takes the starter pedal thrust across the bell housing - like the throttle linkage on the LHD but MUCH beefier.

I didn't check, but I assume the clutch linkage just goes into the RH of the bell housing. and master cylinder on RH frame rail.
