I hope your oil pressure issue turns out to be nothing. There are a couple things that could be causing it. A clogged pickup screen on the oil pump, a bad oil pump, mis-sized or worn main or cam bearing, or simply the oil warming up and getting thinner. I'm doubtful that your oil pressure would go from 50lbs to 10lbs in 3 minutes just from warming, so I think you will need to look deeper in the engine.
Wayne has a good idea about having the oil tested. If the problem is due to wear, then it will be present in the oil now. Maybe send out a sample and have it tested before you run the engine again.
