mounting radials on safety ring wheels

Is that a direct ticket to hell? I had the michelin 11:00x16 on my B2 Power Wagon and they were great. Thinking 235/85r16 on 1/2ton wheels.
The tire store guys really whined when I had them put a tube in an implement tire for my spring tooth that was a take off radial.
Are there radial tubes or any difference in tubes for bias?
