no and i believe there were 2 m601 s early and late and they were identical to each as per early or late
the late model they modified the bolt holes of the sheet metal rad. frame to bolt up 2 plus inches forward of the 230 but at that point it the rad. hence the grill ext.
and the radiator top tank was redone so it would line up with the fill hole in the rad cover which is the same early and late
