I'm using the Bussman fuse panel as well. I'm going to cut a hole in the firewall and panel mount it with the wires in the cab.
The original wiring used a 10ga wire between the alternator and the ammeter. The fitting has a few pins that are rated for 10ga wire, so I think it should be okay, yes?
