I am very much into railroads & RR collectibles. What you have here is a switch lamp that was used in railroad classification yards or areas that the switches needed to be illuminated. Fueled by kerosene, they had to be used where an employee could check and refill the lamps as required. Often they were allowed to burn night and day so that the lamps had to be checked only once per day. The value of the lamp that you have for sale will be enhanced by the PRR Keystone insignia.
