Need Help on WM300

I parked my WM300 a couple of weeks ago- it ran fine. I went to start it this weekend and all it would do is turn over. I pulled the coil wire out of the distributor- no spark. I removed the distributor cap, turned motor over and the points are not firing. My question is is it the points or the ignition coil? Is there a way to test this to find out which one? What is your opinion?? Thanks
