It is good to see the company's information and their statements. One can hope they are truthful. As I researched gas powered wood splitters I found many companies who claimed their products were "made in the USA". Further reading, in most cases, provided an admission of the fact that they were "assembled in the US from (imported or outsourced) parts". I got so bogged down trying to weed through all the possibilities that I finally gave up and bought one from a local Farm Supply store. It has a Kohler engine that is made in China. :) So far it still starts, runs and splits. What can I say???
