I wish I could tell you something first hand,but from what I have read,the TC has a flange that sticks over the outside edge of the crank flange and studs that go through the 8 holes with nuts on the engine side.I have seen both A-466 and A-488.I am not sure what the deal is with that.Of corse,Loadflite is just the truck name for Torqueflite.I would think they would have the same TC. There are a couple guys in that first link I gave that rebuild these things.If they are still living,I am sure one of them could fix you up.
I totally agree that truck is too cool with the auto to change it.When you get it running maybe we could talk Rosanna into putting some rustic door art on it if you are into that sort of thing?
