The left to right roof supports have wood bows in them and then jute and felt on top for cushioning. The wood board on top is brown 1/8 4x8 hardboard ($7.18) I bought from Lowes and cut to fit. But it is not plywood. The Canvas I got from bigduckcanvas is 3 yards @ $49.00 at 18 oz weight. Good Luck
