The price I received was given based on some metal work on the box, tailgate, and headboard. He is going to smooth seams around pockets, sand/fill spot welds and block it so it's dead nuts straight. There is some door gaps that need attention and he will also block the cab, hood and radiator cover. Then prime, paint, clear, wet sand, and buff. I'm also asking him to fix any runs or blemishes, commit to a one-year guarantee on paint defects, and also want him to agree to a firm deadline. I'm all for paying skilled craftsman a fair price for their work but don't want to be taken advantage of-- if that makes sense.
