I guess I was lucky in getting mine done it was less but in my own garage and I bought the materials from our supplier. One thing I did was assemble the bed and fit all the boards and put the bed on the truck to make sure everything lined up and all mount bolts fit right and the fenders. Then took it back apart for paint. I did trim one board some and one mount hole.then I trimmed about one eighth of a inch of the bottom of the center bed pockets to give better clearance for the fenders
