In my opinion his price is crazy ! For example when I painted my Power Giant W300 materials were just a tad under $1200 for PPG Base/Clear, including primers and hardeners.

You ask "What would you do different if you could go back in time before your truck painted?"

Paint it yourself. I was in the same position you are in 2000 I never hosed paint before. A local body shop wanted $7000 to paint my Power Wagon. SO, I went to the PPG dealer and spent time with questions. He was most helpful. I did exactly what he told me to do, including shooting a little paint on a old trailer first to get the feel. The job turned out great. SInce then I have shot 3 of my trucks, WC-53 Carryall, M37, W300. Then I shot my Cummins powered CJ-7 Jeep. I then shot 3 Corvettes, the last one now in final polish. Its not hard, takes concentration and the desire. If you want to talk about it, we can do a phone call. Email me (click on my user name in blue) and the email will show up.
