Yeah, I noticed that on the new slave cylinder I got for the D300. Would like to have kept the old one, but can't find rebuild kits for them any more. Reluctantly used the chinese metric bleeder because I was in a hurry and the old one was rusty, but should swap it out at some point. It's not that metric's worse, it's that someday I or somebody else will be working on it and will bugger it up trying to use an American wrench on it. That said, I've often successfully loosened a very struck 3/8" bleed screw by using a 9mm 6 point deep socket -- it usually fits snugly, and doesn't round off the corners.
