I had the same issue with a 318 I just had rebuilt. The shop put the drive gear/shaft in but off a few teeth. I just lined up TDC and put my plug wires off by one space. Fired right up with just a touch to line up with the timing light. I need to drop that door panel off at Fed up for you. Crazy busy around here then throw in a mad dash to Arkansas to get a D700 cab and doghouse this weekend.
