You need a flywheel housing that bolts to the Cummins block and mimics the back of a GM engine. You can get them aftermarket made of billet material, or you can get a setup from a delivery truck that used a 4bt and GM transmission. Look to spend around $1,000 for this kit unless you find a bargain.

Be sure to get the Cummins flywheel with your flywheel housing. For a manual trans the flywheel is the most expensive part. It will require a specific starter, but they are not hard to get.

The bread van conversions tilt the motor, so you need tilted motor mounts to match. I happen to have an extra pair of those.

Your GM trans, bellhousing and clutch will generally work with these adapter pieces once you get the special flywheel and housing.

There may be other options depending on exactly what trans you want to use.
