I had a little 800 Scout that I plowed with. Had a slant 4 and was geared very low. Could not get that thing stuck in the snow if I wanted too. Even running racing slick worn junk tires. Miss that thing even now. The axles were pretty robust. Like anything that is built to work, rust is the worst enemy. Sheet metal rusting is one thing, but if the frame is soft not sure it is worth it.

They aren't making them anymore (obviously), so I would look around for parts availability before jumping into it. As for working on them, easy-peasy.
