How long was it sitting? Was there antifreeze in the water That you drained out of the pan? It sounds like it might be condensation. Was it covered when sitting? Are all the crankcase openings covered (dip stick, oil filler cap crankcase vent and etc)?

If you ran it for 15 min I would expect that the water would have been mixed into the oil as the sump is in the low spot where the water should be. I wonder if the water got there after you moved it.
