I have had this success with paint chips, deep scratches. Take your paint color and "fill" the chip or scratch with your color. Then take a single edge razor blade, place a piece of 1000 grit sandpaper on glass, and drag the razor blade over the sandpaper a few times in one direction. This creates a "curl" on the blade. Take the blade again, and round the edges with the same sandpaper.
Then take the blade and lightly scrape it over your paint "bubble" once paint has cured to get to original paint surface. Lightly scuff immediate area with the left over 1000 grit paper, and spot clear coat. If clear coat runs, you can remove the run by same scraping method.
Buff polish when clear coat has cured to remove overspray.
If you are nervous, or unsure, you can practice on the family car using the touch up paint found at your auto parts store. Note that rattle can clear coat may not be compatible with your new clear coat on your truck.
