Chris,

Good luck finding anything. I have an FWD, from the 1940's, that I have struggled to find any web site information or photos on it.

You may want to give a call to the S A McLean company in Limerick, Maine (207)-793-4267. They have an extensive line of AWD heavy equipment (Osh Kosh, FWD etc) for sale in the local Auto Hunter. Most of what I've seen is from the 60's, 70's and 80's. Occasionally there might be an older one, so they may know where to look for information.

Another place you might want to try is the Antique Truck Historical Society (www.aths.org). There is an e-mail address there that may provide you with some help. There was one other sight that gave historical information and pictures about Osh Kosh and FWD, but I've forgotten what it was.

Have you checked out the older Walters Sno-Fighters. That is an interesting beast as well.

Have fun searching.
