I'm also a builder, and I've erected many steel buildings. Make sure you get one of at least 12' eave height. You'll be sorry later if you go lower than than. A 12' eave height at 50' will give you about 6'-4" of rise at the ridgeline, or 18'- 4". Enough for a storage mezzanine. Make sure that the doors and door frames are included. Make sure that the insulation is included, the building is insulated during erection, so don't let them tell you that you can do it later yourself. The roof insulation is pressed between the roof and wall panels and the perlins to properly hold it in place. The insulation is mylar coated and is the only way to go for summer/winter comfort. Make sure that the engineered drawings are a part of the package and that the anchor bolts and bolt templates are included. If you plan on getting a permit, the stamped, wet signed, engineered drawings are a must.
