I've been in the process of doing the wheels and lock rings for my truck with POR 15 and I'll agree with you, the stuff is tough. Even after kicking on the lock ring the stuff is still there. I haven't sandblasted my stuff, just cleaned them with a pressure washer, then used the metal ready stuff, then paint on the POR 15. I'm using the black. While still tacky I've gone over it with Krylon gloss black. I've got three out of four done and the three that are done look great. I just went to a hardware store and bought the cheapest inch and a half brushes there were. Also make sure you get the lid sealed good on the can, the stuff will start to harden up if it's not sealed good. Robert
