What size tires are you running? I have a full-time 4x4, 360, automatic that runs about 3000rpms at 55 mph! I got lucky at 12 mpg! Usually alot less! And that's with 31" tires and 3.91 gears, and an in-dash vacuum gauge!
I don't even bother driving this on the freeway anymore! Too many rpms for the speed! Boy oh boy, I wish I had overdrive!
