I am never surprised by the unusual. He did not mention that he was running 7:50x16" 1/2 ton rims. If it's not Budd what is it? Could we be looking at International? I have sets of 9:00x16 6.50 rims that have the small hole and they will not fit over the backing plate. In which case I would recommend a set of 9:00x16 6.50 Budd rims and get on with it.
