PTO

I am installing a PTO on a WM300 1958. Can someone send me some instructions?? and hints on how to rig these up. I have never done one before. Also, I am running a wood splitter off the PTO. Does anyone have a list of revs the PTO will put out at certain engine rpm so I can get the best hydraulic pump to fit the purpose? I have a 230 Flathead and a NP420 Trans. Thanks.
