I have owned a 77 Power Wagon for 20 years. Over the years, I have done many modifications: 1970 - 440 motor home engine hopped to the gills for Pulling cattle trailers and equipment. Dodge powertrains are the strongest in the business. The 727 trans. is unmatched. It came out in 1962. Must have got it right the FIRST time! I changed mine over to part-time 4x4 some time back. I think these trucks were the best because the body is quality built, look how the inner fender wells are attached to the fenders--NO trapped mud! My truck doors close like a refrigerator door. Very few rattles in the truck. While owning this truck, I have owned 4 Chevys, 6 Fords, and a few forign trucks. I still LOVE the DODGE! I have never owned another truck, including a few later model Dodges, that is as tough or that will do what this truck will do. Guess Im stuck with it!!---NO BRAG--JUST FACT--GILES
