A 92 12-valve Cummins is one of the easiest Diesel engines to work on. Parts are readily available from Cummins as well as after market suppliers. The internet is overflowing with information about these trucks. I would search for an independent shop that does Diesel repair. They are generally not that hard to find.

Sounds like the Fiat Dealer is just guessing about what is wrong with the truck. Heck, I can do that from here.

I do recommend using a fuel additive (that helps add lubricity) every fill-up . The injection pump on that engine was designed to be partially lubricated by the fuel itself. The ULS fuel does not have the lubricity of the fuel that was sold when the truck was built.
