All of the trucks have different frames and suspensions. I own or have owned the following; D200, W200, D300, W300, D400, D500, W500, D600, S600, D700. I know a little bit about BIG Dodges. The frames increase in size as the trucks get larger. And some of them, the W5, D6, and D7, have a frame rail doubling plate for added strength. Dana 70 axles WILL NOT WORK under anything larger than a W300-even though Chrysler put them under the front of some of the W600s. If you put them under your truck-especially if it's a dump truck-the first time you try to drive the truck loaded, the axles will fold up like a bad card table. And that's just on flat level ground. And, if the truck does get rolling without grenading the axles, you may not get it stopped because the brakes are not large enough to handle the weight. Save your money and buy either the axles and transfer case for W500, or buy a W500 to begin with. You will waste a lot of money and time if you buy the incorrect parts and then have to replace them later with the correct parts. Doesn't matter how cheap the D500 is to begin with.
