I've been using Toyos for a long time, but tried a set of Nittos on my 2012 dodge. Back to Toyos now if that tells you anything. The Nittos wore out quickly on our gravel roads and had poor winter traction, no extra sipes though. So for Toyos I run 35x12.50r17 M/T on a the dodge 2500's, M-55's on everything else, including my wife's 2014 Land Cruiser.
The Nittos are USA mfg, Toyos are from Japan. I was told tthey're all part of the same company.
