There are, of course, two Americas: one, rural, non-coastal, not "educated" in the ways that count today, meaning investment theory and how the good old Capitalist system really works.

And then there is Group Two. The often liberal, economically aware, primarily urban (and coastal) folks who are making plenty of money even in these challenging times.

And a note of reality: for the foreseeable future: NO ONE in this country is going to get wealthy by working in a traditional way. That's just not the way our economy works.

So, does that mean that the economically aware, the Coastals," are bad?

I don't think so. They're doing what they think is best to keep their heads above water, and, so far, it's working. For all we might want to scream and cry about "traditional values," the truth is that this is a very different world we live in today. Sadly, Trump et. al. is just a fraudulent attempt to pretend that today and tomorrow don't exist.

But they do, and they will. Ask any dinosaur - if you can find one...
