If that is the case then running the two lines to a T and having the in line residual brake valve should work. Although you have two resrvoirs they will act as one.
A proportioning valve is used to balance the pressure between the front and the rear, you do not want one end to lock up way before theatre one does. So you do not need a proportioning valve you just need to use a residual
pressure valve. You need just enough pressure to keep the shoes from pulling away from the drums but not too much that they drag....
