For now I don't mind spending the money to do it right with proper drums. Might be a long time before disk brakes if this makes the truck stop fast. I only need 4 more and it looks like they will be coming. The over sized drums do not fit the shoes snug and they have to be ground to fit which will remove a lot of good brake lining. To much arc grinding and they will be very thin in the middle before the rest has a chance to wear down. I might end up loosing 50-75% of my new shoes in the process!
