Mark, you mention that you had this problem on your previous Power-Wagon. Also you mention that a couple of your adjusters seem to turn a full revolution without pressing the shoes into contact with the drums - if I am understanding correctly. If it has been a while since you worked with this type of brake system, you may want to read my post over on the Power Wagon Advertiser forum where I tried to help a member. I have put a clickable link below to the post.

If your upper adjusters are truly rotating more than a full revolution, you will hear the brake show slam back against the wheel cylinder under spring pressure as your adjuster passes top-dead-center. I am taking a guess here that your drums have not been turned out far enough to allow THAT to happen. If so, they are dangerously thin. Even if your lower pivots are adjusted as loose as they can be (shoe heal as far away from drum as possible) that should not effect the upper half of the shoe enough to allow the upper adjusters to rotate completely around.

Now, if it is the lower pivots that you are able to rotate over 360 degrees, then that would tell me that your drums are oversized too much. Can thicker than standard linings make up for this difference - possibly. But, your drums could still be past their safe limit.

I do not believe there was a larger master cylinder used on 6x6 models verses that which was used on the 4x4 model, but I could be wrong. I think you have bigger problems that need to be addressed before considering a "larger" master cylinder.
