I had a parts truck that I bought from the local limestone quarry. The brake linings on the shoes was .500 inch thick. The drums were paper thin they had been turned so many times. However, this Power-Wagon was only being used to travel the steep shelf road going down into the quarry, and was only carrying dynamite and blasting caps. So there was no worries about catastrophic drum failure..... ;^)
