If your thinking about buying a trailer, I suggest you consider a 14K tandem axle, with brakes on all 4 wheels. Buy bigger than you need right now, you have no idea what you might want to buy int he future.
As a example, towing my Carryall to the Iowa Rally, on Cat Certified Scales, my GCVW was 18,500. She trailed like a dream.
