this was in 1980 or so
all i know is that when i would take a dry cloth to the plug and coil wires to the distributor and their respective holes the engine would run again
also in the w300 seems the motor sat lower as compared to the 225 in wm milo posted--not to mention beany tires
as i recall it was easier to get to the dist. from under the truck vs above
you could always mod the mounts so the motor did not slant so much---just kidding
