I too, would like to see one. Always thought a slant 6 would be the logic power upgrade for our Flat Fenders. I've owned a few 'slants' over the years, one being in a boat. They are bullet - proof. and horsepower upgrades are relatively cheap and easy.

Knowing how auto manufacturers like to use as much existing, off the shelf materials as possible to keep down costs, seeing how Chrysler made the transition in regards to bell-housing, Motor mounts, TC lever mounting, etc. would be very interesting. This also applies to power steering. I'm fairly sure Dodge accomplished this without cutting the the chassis and steering column, and the use of universal joints and other manufacturers parts, some of which were not yet available at the time. Possibly Dodge used a generator/power steering pump that is no longer practical. It just seems upgrading our trucks the way Dodge did is an approach not taken. Any thoughts?
