my experience on the trail has shown the opposite to work best in those conditions. I have been out with many other vehicles that have larger pulleys and they mostly have heat issues in summer when I never do with small pulley. small pulley speeds up fan which moves more air. the volume in a stock PW radiator is so much more than average slowing down coolant I think would not help anything. All I know is I never have had overheating issues in the stock 230 trucks or the 2 V8 conversion trucks I have off roaded with stock radiators and 0 pressure cap.
