Hi Steve,
The fuel pump is newly rebuilt with modern rubbers.
The engine shop that I spoke with was not who rebuilt this engine.
Whoever did this one used copious amounts of red silicone on all surfaces. I found some bits of it stuck here and there inside the engine, I wouldnt be surprised if there was a gob of it clogging an oil port.
I got the engine pulled apart and #6 rod bearing was pretty well hammered. everything else looked decent.
