I figured out how to bypass the control wiring and directly supply power to the solenoids.
(1) Spool in - power to green wire , little click.
(2) spool out vvvroom works fine, try spool in again.
(3) Spool in - vvvroom works fine. tried it multiple times and it works fine- like 40 times.
(4) hooked up remote cable and all hard wiring , works fine , again multiple tries.
I suspect a sticky solenoid, been at this for hours today, checked every connection , wire, bolt every way I could think of short of upside down.
I love quirky electrical stuff............not.
