VIN number for 1955 2 ton Dodge truck

OK - after working on this truck for several years I decided I should try to get the missing title taken care of. First thing I find out is that they want proof of the VIN number. Of course the original VIN number plate has been removed.

So, can I find the VIN number stamped on the frame somewhere?
