Paul, in your intro to "Trans Labrador 2005" narrative and pictures, you explain the significance of the "500" and how the locals felt about it. The whole thing is educational.
Since you not only had the skills to build the carryall, "now named Sweetheart" but also the writer's gift to hold a reader's attention--and have built the M37 for an even greater trek--it would throw out the challenge for the eventual buyer (and, of course all the "keyboard warriors") to outline some of the facts and details that motivated you to prepare for a Northwest run. Most of us in the "Lower 48" have virtually no concept of the vastness of Western Canada.
